Your website has lots of data that can be used to grant access to parts of the site, manage email lists, and much more. Constituent Manager, Groups Manager, and directory pages allow you to get the most out of your data.

In this video, learn about the important part Constituent Manager plays when it comes to building your website and explore the various ways to upload data.

  1. Add a profile to the Faculty Role.

    • First Name: Test

    • Last Name: User

    • Work Email:

  2. Set the Faculty work email field to be "private," only visible to the person it belongs to.

  3. Create a searchable Faculty directory on a webpage. Make sure it is searchable by first and last name. Note: you can do this as part of your regular website where you might actually need a directory or create a root-level page called Directory Test to try this on.

  4. Now find "Test User" in the directory and make sure you cannot see the work email field.

Absolutely! Data fields can be configured for each role, and visibility can be restricted as needed to ensure constituent privacy.

What is Groups Manager?

Groups Manager allows you to organize your constituents into various custom factions, such a classes, athletic teams, campus locations, departments, etc.

Can I hide constituent emails to prevent spammers?
